Pulling her hair out,
Wondering why she doubts,
Her friends pass by,
She’s done getting high,
Her dreams soar,
She loves them to her core,
Life isn’t fair,
But she knows they care,
Good byes are not final,
Our love lasts forever,
I’ll wait.

I really like the way you are basically telling your friend that you're willing to wait even though this person is screwing up right now. At least that's how I interpret it. I like it.
