Do I know you?
So, the other day we had a journal in class about happiness, what it really is and how you achieve it. Well, wouldn’t we like to know? To be honest, I believe that happiness is different for everyone and we all achieve it in different ways, though I also believe that happiness has the same base line.
I think that one thing it takes to be truly happy is loving myself. I mean, I remember when I use to hate myself and think that I wasn’t good enough for anything or anyone. That nothing I could do was right. Then I went through something called The Great Life. I went in thinking that I knew it all, thinking that I was happy with myself and the way my life was going.
Five weeks later, I found myself smarter and joyful. When my training ended, I left with the knowledge of who I am and I am a passionate, free, loving young woman. It’s because I know who I am that makes me happy.
I believe that most people are not happy because they don’t know who they really are or don’t love themselves. I think that most people aren’t happy because their just doing a routine, existing but not truly living. For those of you out there who “exist” my only advice for you is to get out there in the world. Find who you really are and love yourself.

I very much agree with you. Happiness is different for everyone, even though some people could try to disagree. This blog is very insightful.

Sena, I believe that true happiness is somewhere holding the endurance in every person. Hopefully someday everyone will find they're inner happiness and experience life to the fullest! Im glad you've found who you are and I think I'm just barely living that experience for myself.

i totally agree with what you said, you have to learn to accept yourself for who you are before you can be happy... well said

I agree about how happiness is different for every one. But how do you learn how to love yourself?

I agree with you. I think that people just really need to either accept themselves as who they really are, or change themselves and become truly happy. good work.

Hi Sena,
I really like your thoughts on what it means to be happy and why you think people are not happy. I agree with you about loving yourself and knowing who you are really helps you to be a happier person.
One thing that confused me was what The Great Life actually is. Is it a program that you did or is it just something that you decided to add to your life? It might help explain why you were "smarter and joyful" after five weeks.
