Ghost Stories
I’m writing this journal on my feelings about ghost stories. Usually ghost stories don’t scare me at all, until I’m asleep, then I get paranoid. But it usually only lasts like half an hour, but there have been times when it lasted a lot longer. For example, one time when I was about ten years of age, my family was out camping and my grandpa told me a story about skin walkers, and I didn’t sleep the entire time. We were in that canyon. It was the longest I’ve ever stayed awake. It was terrible for me and the people I kept up.
I think that news stories are a lot scarier than ghost stories, because you can be sure that the news is true, for the most part. Those things can still happen to random people at random times, and there’s nothing the world can do about it. We just watch in painful silence wishing we could be heroes, but we’re always too late to save the day.

I agree scary stories are really not that scary because you know most aren't real. Thats deep that you think that we can't always be heroes but we can at least try right?

I am the exact same way! at first the scary stories are fun and exciting, until the lights go out and you're alone with those thoughts. I think you did a great job with this scary story piece. You were very personal with your story; I like how you gave an experience you had with them. I also loved how you turned it to reality and what is actually worth being scared of.

I'm not used to being scared by ghost stories, but when I was, I had a nightmare. Many people think that if they were here, then they would be a hero and be the one to believe and help the person, but not many can boast that they really would or have.
