Age of Times
My first thought on age. I can’t wait to tell my sister happy birthday today. She is turning 24 today. Every time I even thought about saying something she would tell me to stop. It was like I was talking about death. It was that bad. She nearly started to cry every time I talked about what she wanted or anything about it. I love old people. I love to hang out with them, talk to them, and listen to all the fun stories. Listening to the times they enjoyed in life makes me feel good. Try to connect and show some empathy for them and just have fun.
When I think of older people I think of my Grandma and Grandpa, the ones I found at Summit. My grandma Jo that runs the show from the front desk and then we talk during 5th period. Then Doug the old principal was my best friend I could talk to for hours and not ever run out of things to say. Both of these people helped me out so much last year with a huge problem at the time, but looking back on it, it really wasn’t as big as I thought. Why I think I get along with older people is I grew up with my real Grandma and Grandpa for the first ten years of my life.

Death can be scary but if u die its because it was your time to go and i think it would be cool when your older to tell stories to your grand children. this story is pretty good

This is a very good story, however I found it hard to follow. Your ideas just need a little organization. I was just confused when you went from talking about your sister and then older people. You Could talk about how hard the idea of death is for you and your sister and then talk about you grandparents and what they meant to you. I just felt in your writing here that the ideas were scrambled in each paragraph. The best way to seperate these two ideas whould be a paragraph about each of them, that way it makes it easier for the reader to understand what your trying to explain. I agree that death is a very hard subject to talk about, both my grandpa and one of my brothers best friends died when i was a sophomore in high school. But you did a very good explaination with how you cope with it because you like to talk with older people and it makes you feel better about it.

I was raised by my grandma mostly. My mom was usually working to put food on the table. I never would of thought as you to be one to hang out with old people though.
